I Am The Messenger

Brief Summary: In the next critically-acclaimed novel by Markus Zusak, Ed Kennedy, an average underage cabdriver in Australia stops a bank robbery. The next thing that he knows is that he is getting strange cards in the mail, each one leading to a different place, each one with an important message for him to give. My Review: I liked this book. It wasn't as good as The Book Thief, but it was still very good. I liked it. There were a parts that were a little too much, and a few parts that were a little cheesy and predictable, but, really, I found this book fun and interesting. It was sad and funny and strange at the same time. Well done.

Markus Zusak is an amazing author in The Book Thief where Liesel Meminger is living in Nazi Germeny and Death tells her story. It is sad and funny and a great read and one of my favorite books.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

Well, this is actually a really good book. It is odd in some places but I liked it. It was very interesting. The book is Historical Fiction. (Of course I'm going to learn something!) The author did a very good job on it.

This is about a girl growing up during one of the World Wars and it is her as she grows up. It is kind-of like her surviving the hardships. She has to live with foster parents because her brother and mom died at the beginning. Her brother had a book about either digging or graves. (I haven't read this book in a while so my facts may be off.) And every once in a while she steals books.
