The Hound of Rowan from The Tapestry by Henry Nepp

I thought this book had a very bad beginning. I mean, it wasn't the worst but not the best. I thought it was hard to follow. Usually I am a fast reader but it took me almost a month to read 100 pages. I never finished it. If I ever do I will add on to this post but still...it was much like Harry Potter.

The book is about a boy named Max McDaniels who goes to a school with like magic and stuff where evils await him. Hello? Harry Potter, big time. Well, this is one of the books that I couldn't even finish. That is rare. Well, oh well. You can't love every book you read, but some are loved on such a great scale that it is the best book ever.

A note to people: The book doesn't give a good description on the back in my opinion. The cover is kind-of freaky looking. (Yes, I know don't judge a book by it's cover.)

My rating was simple. I gave it an extra star because it could have a good end. I guess I may have to read it...later.

There was this book called TrueBlood, and it was about a chick who could read minds and then falls in love with a vampire. Um....hello? Twilight! Edward can read minds and he's a vampire.

Ahem. (Quoting from TrueBlood: "But yet she could not read his thoughts....") Edward cannot read Bella's thoughts because he loves her! It drives me insane.

Don't worry Jack. Max McDaniels cannot stand up to the wrath of HP.
