CALEF BROWN BOOKS

Calef Brown is great. he is so creative. I compare him to Shel Silverstein and Dr. Suess.

SING DOWN THE MOON by Scott O' Dell

Good. It is very realistic about what happened when Indians were being moved around and prejudized. I think it was interesting. (mostly at the end)

A SINGLE SHARD by Linda Sue Park

Very good book. I think that is very adventurous. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 9. That is really good. Read it if you think this sounds good.

NUMBER THE STARS by Lois Lowry

This book is in Denmark in the 1940s when there was prejudence against Jews. Annmarie has a best friend who is a Jew and they are looking for her. So she pretends to be in they're family. She must do much more to save her friend. It is a great book and is alot better than some others.
